Beth Theodore L.Ac. is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in California and is a Diplomat of Acupuncture nationally. She obtained her Master’s degree from Samra University in 2000, the oldest school of Oriental Medicine in the United States.

After graduation, Beth pursued a unique opportunity to study with Master Jukou Kawai and Master Yoshiko Yamauchi in Kyoto, Japan. There she learned a classical style of acupuncture practiced in the United States by a select group of acupuncturists.

Beth continues to take courses in a variety of health related subjects in order to keep up with current development in health care. She treats her patients using Eastern Medicine and neuro-emotional technique (NET). Eastern Medicine is comprised of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and Chinese Nutrition which work synergistically in treating the patient. NET helps to neutralize emotional blocks that can prevent the individual from healing. Combining these two styles allows for a more thorough treatment. Beth has discussed Acupuncture and NET on KPFK’s Inner Vision with Nita Vallens. Experience has taught Beth that healing on all levels must be achieved in order to obtain lasting results.

Beth has a strong passion for holistic healing and feels that everyone should be entitled so she is the first acupuncturist to offer acupuncture to the homeless ladies at the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Currently Beth practices out of her office in Pasadena, CA. While her primary focus is treating the emotions, she also treats reproductive disorders and fertility as well pain, digestive disturbances, fatigue and the common cold. Since Chinese Medicine is designed to bring each patient back into balance, Beth is able to treat a variety of different conditions.
